Joe’s Adventure By: Brenden Joe, the polar bear, was tired of looking at nothing but snow and slippery ice. There was snow as far as he could see. “I’m tired of this snow,” Joe told his mother.“I’m going to go where I can see something different.” “But you are only a polar bear,” said his mean mother. It didn’t matter to Joe. He packed up his things and left for Kansas City. As he went through the beautiful town, he got hit in the head by a very hard baseball which came from Royals Stadium. Some people thought that he was the bear that had run away from the Coca-Cola Company. They called animal control. When, they got there, Joe was calm. The animal control officer took Joe and put him in a black truck with large steel bars. He drove Joe to the Coca-Cola Company and stopped. As he got out to get Joe, he noticed there was a huge hole in the side of the black truck. So he quickly called the police. Joe headed straight for the Royals Stadium again, as he was a huge baseball fan. He went inside and soon saw the concession stand. He ran toward the stand and the guy sprayed cold water at Joe. Then, the stadium worker called animal control and the police and said “The animal is at the Royals game.” Joe heard the loud sirens coming closer and closer. The police got there first. When animal control arrived, the police had already formed a tight circle around Joe. The animal control officer took Joe again and put him in a special metal truck. The man drove to the Coca-Cola Company with Joe. This time when he went to the back of the truck to get Joe, Joe was still there. The man took him inside and into a steel cage. A couple minutes later a man in a dark black suit appeared and took Joe onto a green screen. The man had Joe sit up and gave him a Coke bottle to hold in his hand. Joe did not know what to do so he did as the man had told him. The next thing Joe knew, he was on a Coke bottle. The next day Joe managed to escape again. He felt lonely so he started heading home with some souvenir Coke bottles in his bag. He finally got home. His mom was very glad he was back. Next time Joe decided he would take his mom along! THE END
